Mr. Kitashiro's Lecture

Last Monday, we listened to Mr. Kitashiro's lecture. He told us his biography and leadership concepts. He was gentle, calm and opened his mind to us. His lecture was very precious for us!

He used some key-words.
*Be positive / Don't be negative
*Don't give up
*Passion
*Communication
*Good for everyone --- Make a win-win style

When we do something, we need to think about
1st : Customer / Client / Society
2nd : Employees / Team
3rd : Own benefit
to win!

I felt he was very very positive person and his family and friends must be very very happy!

Conflict

We talked about conflict. When we get into conflict, we shouldn't button our lips. We need to discuss or talk with someone who we can trust.

We checked our ways to act in conflicts. I was a confronting negotiator who wanted to solve the problem and thought both the goal and the relationship were important. It's one of the difficult ways, but I want to be a good confronting negotiator.

Confronting negotiators---they are like the owl.

In the next class, we can meet Mr. Kitashiro. It must be a very wonderful time for us! I'm looking forward to see him.

"Win" Tactics

There are 8 tactics to make win-win negotiations.
1. Exaggerated First Offer
2. Speed Ups
3. Delays
4. Drawing Lines
5. Creating Competition
6. Concessions
7. Investment
8. Authority Limits

I often use Delays and Investment to share a lot of deep information of each other.

Negotiation 2

We talked about good negotiation skills. In the Louisiana Pine Snake Eggs negotiation, we tried a business one with focusing our own interests.

We chose our own "sentence." I chose Einstein's word --- Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. I want to be a "good" person.
