We learned about negotiation skills last week.
The key word was simple --- "Information is everything!"
We challenged some role playing negotiations. In the orange one, I took a mistake that was I couldn't listen to the partner's information clearly. Therefore, I couldn't make a win-win solution. I want to be a good listener of English.
We thought about our own long-term goals and short-term ones. What's my goal? It was very strong question for me. We watched a short movie and it said that "Was I better today than yesterday?". I couldn't nod to this question suddenly. Who am I? What's my goal? I can't answer them.
Thank you for your reading.
Hi Machi!
返信削除If we don't set goal, we can't answer "Was I better today than yesterday?".
So we should set ultimate goal which is core belief for our mind, even if we cannot set concrete goal.
Negotiation is not a easy one, but more you try hard, more you would be used to it.

Hi Machi,
返信削除Yes, information is everything! Remember that and how you get information, by asking questions and sharing what you know, then you are all set to go.
