Machi’s Mission Statement

At ICU, I want to study a lot!
I’m interested in psychology, linguistics, sociology and biology.
I want to know myself from multi-direction.
I want to create meaning to my life which includes past, present and future.

I want to be a good puppeteer, too!
For example, voice production, acting performance, sewing and fabrication.
I want to tell the wonderfulness of the puppet show!
We sometimes perform it at some kindergartens.
I hope our performance will be something pleasant to look back on by these children.

I can’t imagine myself a working member of society clearly.
I don’t have a concrete ideal occupation.
I want to be a person who can reward requests for working.

I want to consider and improvement a self-sacrificing part of myself.
Sometimes it’s important, but there is its limit.
I want to be a person who can love and care for myself.
I want to take care of myself as good as of others.

I want to know what LOVE is.
I don’t know the pleasure to love a specific other.
I want to be pleased at encounters, to be sorrowful about parting and treasure everyone around me.
It’s my mission to live with gratitude, love and respect.

AHOYAMA Class & Text Case Studies Jigsaw

*AHOYAMA Class
On Monday, we went to Ahoyama and took lecture with moving our bodies! The discussion under the sun was very enjoyable and fantastic! Our group made a good square with a blinder and only oral communication. Each members put up various ideas and the group leaders, who were Aiki and Yumi, collected up them. The discussion was very open and active because we can be friends as LILTDY classmates! I'm very very happy.

*Text Case Studies Jigsaw
My part was Chapter 13, Anne Mahr of Rice Health Systems. I worried about the correctness of my commentary, but at the time of my presentation, I could do it with a lion's skin! My group members listened to my presentation carefully and asked a lot of questions, so I was comfortable. I feel grateful about that for my group members!

*Next Class...
Tomorrow(Oops, it was already today!!) I am going to do my final presentation. My tension runs high now, but I'm looking forward to others' presentations!

Thank you for your reading, see you next class!
