Negotiation Skills

 We learned about negotiation skills last week.
 The key word was simple --- "Information is everything!"

 We challenged some role playing negotiations.  In the orange one, I took a mistake that was I couldn't listen to the partner's information clearly. Therefore, I couldn't make a win-win solution. I want to be a good listener of English.

 We thought about our own long-term goals and short-term ones. What's my goal? It was very strong question for me. We watched a short movie and it said that "Was I better today than yesterday?". I couldn't nod to this question suddenly. Who am I? What's my goal? I can't answer them.

First Impressions

 Last week, we learned about First Impressions.

 Hand shaking has a lot of meaning such as showing the power relationships, familiarity and so on. And it has the points for us --- Brief, Worm, Firm!

 SOFTEN was one of the key words of us. It means Smile, Open stance, Forward lean, Tone, Eye contact and Nod. Especially I'm not good at Eye contact, so I need to prepare my talking well.

 Smile was very important for us, too. It has relations with our neurons, so it works with not only our rational minds but also our wild ones. It has big power for our assessments.

Machi's 1st Post

I'm Machi Ogawara, from Ibaraki and live in Mitaka by myself now. I'm not good at English, so please help me in class.

Last winter term, I took Ken's CS-CM class. It was very interesting and I thought he was very kind and cute, so I wanted to take his class again.

I'm  a member of ICU Puppetry Club. Nest year, we will need to lead our kouhai (ID16&17). I want to know how to get a leadership in the club activity.
